The Titan × American Legion 250th Anniversary Bat

Most 250th anniversary keepsakes will spend the next 250 years in a drawer.

The t-shirt fades. The mug chips. The commemorative plate ends up at an estate sale.

A bat is different. A bat is America's game, cut from solid [maple], turned by hand, and heavy enough to mean something when you pass it to your kid. This one carries the American Legion's mark, the year 1776, and a number that belongs to you alone.

We made exactly 1,776 — one for the year it all started. When number 1,776 leaves the shop, the lathe stops and this bat is never made again.

Every 250th Edition includes:

The Titan × American Legion 250th Anniversary Bat

The Bat.

Full-size, hand-turned [maple], engraved with the American Legion 250th Anniversary mark and your edition number — 1 of 1,776.

The Collector's Box.

A display-worthy presentation box built to protect it for the next generation, not just the shipping.

The 250th Anniversary Commemorative Coin

The Commemorative Coin.

A 250th anniversary coin struck for this edition only.

The Letter of Authenticity (interim stand-in until a photograph of the LOA is available)

The Letter of Authenticity.

Documenting your bat's number in the registry of 1,776.

Close-up of the AMERICAN LEGION · 1776 · inscription on the barrel of the 250th Anniversary Bat (interim stand-in until an engraved-number close-up is available)

Every number tells you
when it ends.

This isn't "limited edition" the way a t-shirt company means it. The edition size is the founding year itself: 1,776 bats for 250 years of America. Your number is engraved into the wood and recorded on your Letter of Authenticity. Number 250 and number 1,776 will be someone's family story. One of them could be yours.

Made For Three People.

Some of these will go to Legion halls and shadow boxes next to a folded flag.

Some will go to the coaches and dads who gave their summers to Legion ball.

Some will go to collectors who understand that the 500th anniversary is coming, and the people holding these bats won't be around to see it — but their bats will.

If you're one of those three people, you already know it.

Questions

Is this a game bat?
No. The 250th Edition is display-only — built for a mantel, a desk, or a shadow box. Titan makes game bats too; they're on the rest of the site.
When will mine ship?
Within two weeks. Each one is inspected, numbered, and boxed by hand before it leaves Logansport.
Can I pick my number?
No. Numbers are assigned in the order bats leave the shop. You discover yours when you open the box.
Can I choose Red or Blue?
Yes. Pick your handle color in the buy box above. Both share the same 1,776 numbering pool — 888 of each color.
Can I return it?
Because each bat is uniquely numbered, all sales are final once the box is sealed. If it arrives damaged, we replace it — free.
What if it's sold out?
Once 1,776 are gone, this edition is closed forever. Join the waitlist — if a reservation is abandoned in checkout, the next person on the list is notified.
